We have been carrying out data
transfer between motion control and computer animation
since the mid-90s. This includes the transfer of
motion data both ways: from the rig to CGI systems
and, of course, the reverse direction where camera
movement is performed with the help of CGI data.
In the two American feature films "The Patriot" and "The 13th Floor" all motion control movements were carried out with data processed in computer animation. After import into the motion control system, this data was scaled to match the actual size of the model.
In the reverse direction all motion control data is translated into ASCII files for use in computer animation. These files contain x, y and z values for three-dimensional translation and degrees of rotation (pan, tilt, roll).
For test purposes and in order to check compatibility, we provide a motion control sample move and a Maya file with the same move for downloading.

Furthermore,
a free test
